Senova is a boutique Vancouver CPA firm built to plan tax the way it should be done: proactively, across the whole life of a business, in service of the wealth and the life its owners are building. It was founded on the belief that owners deserve senior attention and a real plan, not a return with a number on it.
Sayed founded Senova after more than twelve years across small, mid-sized, and international accounting firms. That range matters: he has led complex assurance engagements and navigated Canadian tax compliance and strategic planning for owners at every stage, and he has seen how differently things turn out when the planning is proactive rather than reactive.
His technical grounding runs deep, with experience across IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP, and a focus on the integration between a corporation and the family behind it. But what he kept noticing was the gap most owners fall into: capable accountants filing accurate returns, while the decisions that actually shape a lifetime tax bill, and the life it funds, went unplanned year after year.
Senova exists to close that gap. The idea is simple: bring senior, whole-picture thinking to a focused group of business owners, plan the arc rather than the tax year, and keep tax in its proper place, a lever in service of the wealth and the life you are building.
We lean on strong processes and efficiencies for the routine work, so our attention goes where it moves the needle: the planning decisions that actually shape your outcome.
Planning happens while decisions are still open, not after the year has closed and the options have narrowed.
Personal, corporate, holdco, and family trust planned as one system across a lifetime, in service of the life the wealth is meant to fund.
